Flower Love

I have loved flowers since as early as I can remember (I guess my name is fitting).  My mom has always had beautiful gardens that were wild and free. In high school I remember spending time just drifting through the gardens; taking in the colors, patterns, textures, and scents. I would arrange bouquets just for the fun of it. Using them as gifts for friends or taking them to the bed and breakfast that I worked at.

Flowers are happy. Flowers are such an easy way to bring a bit of light into someone's life.

My friend Amanda asked me to do all of the flower arrangements for her wedding this summer. She knew that I had a plethora of flowers in my yard and my aesthetic/style would fit perfect with her outdoor/rustic/farm wedding. I was able to use most of the flowers from my yard to create Amanda's vision. We used recycled bottles and spray painted them various shades of blue for all of the vases.  I loved every second of listening and collaborating with Amanda to understand her vision to the actual realization of the idea on the wedding day!

I hope you enjoy the pictures and they bring a bright spot to your day!
